I researched further into Elisabeth Lecourt and looked at her website to see if I could find further examples of her dresses made of maps. I was excited to find an array of clothes on her collection called “Les Robes Geographiques” (Dresses Geographical) that were made up of bright and colourful maps and also images that represented more specific events and areas e.g “L’Aventure Peter Pan” Voyage of Sir Francis Drake. I really enjoy the way Lecourt has used various imagery to represent different “adventures” or “voyages” and I feel I could use this technique efficiently when creating the costume for my character.
